Activities for Younger Learners

• Sensory Bin: Use any black base (black beans, dyed rice/salt, or black pom poms). Add scoops, funnels, and containers. As learners play, bring up the big ideas and discussion questions.
• Play Dough Singularity: Roll a tiny ball of play dough to represent the singularity. Have your learner squash it, then slowly pull and roll it into a long line to show the expansion of the universe over time.

• Investigate an Interactive Timeline of the Big Bang
